¡Hola! I’m Isha, a creative solopreneur based in New Delhi, India. I blend my design expertise with my background in Computer Science to craft thoughtful, seamless, & compelling experiences with a strategic approach.

My passion for typography & creative development is perfectly matched by my skills in branding & UX/UI design, allowing me to elevate & bring my clients’ visions to life.

Committed to integrating visual storytelling into every aspect of my work, I’ve spent the past 3 years collaborating with a diverse array of global clients, including agencies, startups, & luxury brands.

As the 'kid who could draw' and the 'teen who coded aesthetics into her Tumblr themes,' I've always dreamed of making a living through something creative. In high school, my inner geek and unbridled fascination with Game Boy, iPod, and PS3 had me envisioning myself as the next Steve Jobs (powered by teenage delusions), which drove me to pursue Computer Science. However, that dream quickly faded after a challenging CS class (DSA really tried to take me out, LOL). Coding started to feel mundane, and I couldn’t picture myself thriving in a field where I had little passion.

Despite the little voices in my head whispering 'you won't make it,' I managed to earn my BS degree in CS — because, hey, I took it as a challenge and my "I can and I will" mindset, peppered with optimism, steered me all the way (it was a wild ride, but totally worth it—phew!). Luckily, during my sophomore year, I stumbled upon my true calling in a course called HCI. That’s where I discovered UX/UI design — a perfect blend to experiment around with my technical abilities and innate creativity; it had that "je ne sais quoi," which just resonated with me. I dove headfirst into the world of design and embraced UX/UI designing as my new adventure.

Now, as a design connoisseur and a solopreneur, I've started a design studio, ISxStudios. Via which I strive to apply creativity and innovation to build designs that not only satiate users, but evoke emotions in them and help them appreciate a "good" design.

Recently, I started mentoring out of my love for sharing knowledge and experience with others. If you need some guidance or simply want to say hello, reach out to me! Through this, I allow myself to share knowledge and embrace being a 'lifelong learner.'

If you're a budding design practitioner, this one's for you:

Journey in design is much like life itself, a winded path requiring patience and persistence. It takes time to discover the resources, right opportunities, and most importantly, the right souls who resonate with your creative spirit. However, the universe always has a unique way of bringing them to you, almost as if through design.

When I’m not immersed in design, I enjoy intellectually stimulating myself by learning about the most absurd topics known to mankind. Or other relatable humanly activities like geeking out over eclectic furniture, collecting oddities, hiking, yoga, biking, writing, inventing vegetarian pasta recipes (recipes coming soon), & watching Seinfeld for the 1000th time. I love creating visuals of other sorts, re-reading B. Munari, playing electric guitar, deepening my spirituality, listening to "The Design Podcast" (highly recommended), or simply taking time offline—nothing feels more luxurious to me than that.

“If you hit a wrong note, it’s the next note that you play that determines if it’s good or bad.”

I can’t imagine life without music (NO!), it’s the soundtrack to my every moment, the rhythm that drives me, & the melody that moves me. Whether I’m working, relaxing, or reflecting, music is always there, shaping my thoughts & elevating my mood.

I find joy in every genre, from classic rock to EDM, jazz to hip-hop, & everything in between. Whether it’s the hauntingly beautiful 23-min intricate instrumental journey ("Echoes" by Pink Floyd), a poetic journey, (“All Things Must Pass” by George Harrison) or the booming bass of 'em good old 808 ("ATLiens" by Outkast), music always fuels my creativity.

Looking for a soundtrack to liven up your workday? I’ve got more playlists than a DJ with commitment issues. If your ears are craving some musical inspiration, you’ve just hit the jackpot of audio gold (I take pride in my discoveries, lol). Also, I’m done with gatekeeping, so here you go—enjoy!
